Scholarship Purpose: The John W. and Louise H. Green Scholarship Fund was established in 1970 by John Green, professor emeritus of agriculture at Illinois State University. Each fall awards are made to student employees in the residence halls food service program and were established to encourage excellent academic performance.Qualifying candidates must be of junior standing at time of application and have been employed with Campus Dining or residence hall food service for at least four full semesters. Applicants must have at least a 2.75 grade point average, possess a good attitude, and perform well in their job. Endowment assets are invested in the Illinois State University Foundation's long-term investment pool.
