Scholarship Purpose: Cecil Sommer established this endowed scholarship in memory of her father, Harold Enns and her husband, Cecil Sommer. They each had a lifetime commitment to agriculture. Harold Enns was the first president of Prairie Farms Creamery located in Bloomington. Cecil Sommer farmed in central Illinois over a long period of time. Scholarship applicants must be majoring in Agriculture or Agribusiness. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool.
