Scholarship Purpose: The Kenneth and Maureen Rogers Endowed Scholarship was established in 2015 by Kenneth J. Rogers '73 and Maureen D. Rogers '74. The purpose of the award is to provide financial support for students of any major who demonstrate academic and personal achievement.

Financial Need: This scholarship requires a student to have a Financial Need to be eligible to receive the scholarship. In order to establish "Financial Need", a student must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can file the FAFSA at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.

This scholarship is not open to International Students.

  • First-Generation to attend college, and/or the child of a single parent, and/or without living parents

  • Student must be a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior with a declared major and a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 scale

  • Demonstrate involvement and leadership in school and/or community activities, including substantial work history (list the number of hours worked to help fund his/her education.)

  • Demonstrate an unmet need for financial aid as determined by the Illinois State Financial Aid Office, and/or federal regulation, and/or personal circumstances (application essay should reflect how a scholarship will impact his/her academic future).

  • Submit an essay focused on why he/she should be selected and how a scholarship will impact his/her professional development and academic future.
