Scholarship Purpose: The Betty Keough Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1985 by family, friends, and colleagues in honor of Betty Keough. The endowment supports several different awards for students majoring in Physical Education, Teacher Education.

Miscellaneous Information

• Must graduate during the current school year of application.
• Must have been recognized as superior in teaching performance in HPR 258 and recommended by the HPERD Coordinator of Physical Education Clinical Experiences.
• Should have participated in campus activities and/or have volunteered in the community.
• Must write a letter to the selection committee on why she chose teaching as a career, what her plans are after graduation, and her goals for the first five years.
• Be highly recommended by at least two HPERD faculty assigned to teacher education sequence courses within the Phys Ed major.
