Scholarship Purpose: Bobbie McCambridge was born September 13, 1939. As a young child during WWII, she lived on a government farm where her father was the manager and her mother was the accountant. After high school, Ms. McCambridge decided to attend nursing school, a decision greatly influenced by her own mother's battle with cancer. The Bobbie McCambridge Endowed Nursing Scholarship was established in 2014 in recognition of her perseverance and determination. The purpose of this scholarship is to support students enrolled in good standing at Illinois State University Mennonite College of nursing with financial need.
