Scholarship Purpose: The College of Engineering Founding Dean and Advisory Board Scholarship was established by Founding Dean, Dr. Thomas Keyser and several founding Board Members and/ or their corporate affiliations. The scholarship is awarded to promote student retention.

Minimum Undergraduate GPA: 3.0 3.00 , 3.10 , 3.1 , 3.20 , 3.2 , 3.30 , 3.3 , 3.40 , 3.4 , 3.50 , 3.5 , 3.60 , 3.6 , 3.70 , 3.7 , 3.80 , 3.8 , 3.90 , 3.9 , 4.00 , 4.0

High School GPA: There is no High School GPA requirement for this scholarship.

Essay: There is no essay required for this scholarship.

Financial Need: This scholarship requires a student to have a Financial Need to be eligible to receive the scholarship. In order to establish "Financial Need", a student must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can file the FAFSA at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.

This scholarship is not open to International Students.

Miscellaneous Information

• o Student must be enrolled in the following major: General, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• o Student must be at a grade level of: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior
• o Initial award must go to a freshman or first year transfer student
• o Student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• o Preference is given to a first-generation student
• o Preference is given to a student with demonstrated financial need
• o Scholarships will be awarded for the following term: One- time
