Scholarship Purpose: The Dave and Jo Wiant Endowed Scholarship was created in 2006 by their children with birthday gifts in celebration of their father's 80th birthday. Additional gifts were given by many dear friends and family. Each candidate for the scholarship must be a student in good academic standing, undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in Mennonite College of Nursing at ISU, and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students who by virtue of their life experience, or cultural or ethnic background, will help Mennonite College of Nursing be more reflective of the larger community and more responsive to the needs of the community.
