Diversity Excellence Business Scholarship

Scholarship Purpose: The Diversity Excellence Business Scholarship was established in 2010 by Doug and Linda Ellerman to assist students with diverse backgrounds to finance an education that might otherwise be out of reach. Doug and LInda grew up in working class families in central and western Illinois. Both received scholarships and grants and had jobs which helped them to finance their education.

High School GPA: There is no High School GPA requirement for this scholarship.

Essay: There is no essay required for this scholarship.

Financial Need: This scholarship requires a student to have a Financial Need to be eligible to receive the scholarship. In order to establish "Financial Need", a student must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can file the FAFSA at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.

Community Service: There is a community service requirement in applying for this scholarship.
