Dr. Gary P. Holland Scholarship

Scholarship Purpose: The Dr. Sharon Brown-Hayes Scholarship was established by Sharon D. Brown-Haynes in order to support Earth and Science Space Education students. The scholarship is meant to support students with financial need and to promote diversity of educators by providing awards for first-generation college students and members of traditionally underrepresented populations to the major.

High School GPA: There is no High School GPA requirement for this scholarship.

Essay: An Essay is required towards applying for this scholarship.

Financial Need: This scholarship requires a student to have a Financial Need to be eligible to receive the scholarship. In order to establish "Financial Need", a student must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can file the FAFSA at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.

This scholarship is not open to International Students.

Letter of Reference: For this scholarship application 2 letters of reference are required.
