Scholarship Purpose: The Dr. Savario J. Mungo Endowed Scholarship was established in 2000 by the Illinois State University branch of the Collegiate Middle Level Association to honor Savario J. Mungo at his retirement. This scholarship is awarded to a senior in the middle level teacher education program in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
