Scholarship Purpose: The Dr. Ed Wells Memorial Scholarship in Criminal Justice was established in 2016 by family, colleagues, and friends of Dr. Wells. The Scholarship provides financial support to an undergraduate student majoring in criminal justice, who has completed a minimum of 45 credit hours and at least one semester at Illinois State. Preference will be given to a student with financial need. Dr. Wells dedicated his life work to demonstrated commitment and concern about fairness in society and among/between people.
