Scholarship Purpose: The Edwin Payne Memorial Endowment was established in 1975 by the mother of Edwin A. Payne. Edwin Payne was an associate professor of psychology at Illinois State University from 1952-1971. The scholarship is available to all undergraduate and graduate students at the University with preference given to students pursuing a degree in psychology.
