Esther Lyon Brock Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship Purpose: The Esther Lyon Brock Endowed Scholarship was established in 2008 by Esther's family as a living tribute. Esther Lyon Brock was a nurse for the first ten years of her career before joining her husband, Herschel, in business. She lived and worked in Bloomington for over 50 years. Each candidate for the scholarship must be accepted for enrollment or enrolled in good standing at ISU; demonstrate strong academic achievement, as evidenced by a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; be accepted for enrollment or enrolled in any Mennonite College of Nursing, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral sequence. The scholarship is to be used for educational expenses and is renewable as long as the student continues to meet all criteria of the scholarship.
