Miscellaneous Information

  • All Applicants Requirements: Applicant must be a full-time student at Illinois State University. He or she must provide a letter of recommendation from a professional source such as an employer, teacher or counselor. Applicant must complete the scholarship application.

  • New Student Requirements: Submit a 500 word essay regarding your career goals. Preference will be given to students graduating from Illinois high schools. Sophomore level and above and transfer students must have a 3.50 GPA. Priority will be given to incoming freshmen. ACT score of 26 or higher or SAT score of 1180 or higher.

  • Continuing Student Requirements: Submit a 500 word essay regarding your career goals and how they are related to small business and entrepreneurship. Must fulfill E-Scholar requirements- See Scholarship Expectations document located on the scholarship website.

  • All recipients must fulfill the E-Scholar requirements - See Scholarship Expectations document on scholarship website
