Scholarship Purpose: The Hoon Mok Chung Memorial Fund was established in 2010 in memory of Hoon Mok Chung, L.G.D. '93. He grew up in Korea and became a Chief Executive in the banking industry, a governmental official, and a professor of Political Science at Illinois State University. Founding donor Gary Talarico '75, M.S. '78, has many years of experience as Managing Director in the investment banking field. The purpose of the fund is to provide resources for select students to travel internationally through study or work experience abroad.
