Howard C. Nelson Debate Fund

Scholarship Purpose: Mary E. (Nelson) Swanson '40 established this fund to honor Howard C. Nelson, a member of the debate team. The Howard C. Nelson Debate Fund is to be used to support a debate tournament hosted on the ISU campus, award a scholarship to an outstanding ISU debater (the individual responsible for the selection would be the person working with the debate team), or fund travel expenses for the team. Assets of this endowment are invested in the ISU Endowment Investment Pool.
