John A., Mabel E. and Jacqueline Q. Karch Family and Consumer Sciences Endowment

Scholarship Purpose: Jacqueline Q. Karch created these scholarships in honor of her parents, for their support of her in numerous ways as a student, as well as a professor for twenty-four years at Illinois State University. The purpose of the fund is to honor outstanding students in family and consumer sciences and to provide financial assistance to help them excel while majoring in family and consumer sciences at the University. It was important to Jacqueline that the scholarship recipients be responsible for a reasonable portion of their expenses, and do not receive an education which is completely funded by this scholarship or in combination with other possible awards or grants.
