John and Louise Green Scholarship

Scholarship Purpose: The John W. and Louise H. Green Scholarship Fund was established in 1970 by John Green, professor emeritus of agriculture at Illinois State University. This fund was created to provide scholarship for students that are employed in Event Management, Dining, & Hospitality and to encourage excellent academic performance.

High School GPA: There is no High School GPA requirement for this scholarship.

Essay: There is no essay required for this scholarship.

Miscellaneous Information

• Have been employed with Campus Dining Services for at least four (4) full semesters (this include the current semester).
• To apply for this scholarship, please contact your EMDH supervisor for the application and recommendation forms.
• Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from Campus Dining Services Administrators, or other supervisory staff. Supervisory recommendations must be signed by an administrator in addition to supervisory staff. Work performance will be considered.
• Have achieved Junior standing with a minimum of 60 credit hours at the time of application- graduate students included.
• Unless they are participating in student teaching or other required internship, selected awardees must return to work in Campus Dining Services during the period of the award or the scholarship will be forfeited by the awardee.
