Koehler Creative Scholarship

Scholarship Purpose: The Koehler Creative Scholarship was established in 2025 by Candace J. Koehler on behalf of her parents, Jim and Lucy Koehler. Candace graduated from ISU in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree from the School of Art. Known for her vivid imagination, Candace encourages students to reject mediocrity by being curious and embracing experimentation. The scholarship seeks to reward a student whose artwork shows the evolution of a creative thinker and boundary breaker.
