Scholarship Purpose: The Lena Maxwell Scholarship was established in 1998 by the family of Lena Maxwell, a 1928 graduate of the Mennonite Sanitarium Training School, which became Mennonite College of Nursing. She was superintendent of the school and director of nurses for 24 years. This scholarship is awarded to a junior-level undergraduate student enrolled in Mennonite College of Nursing.
