R.I.S.E. (Redbird Internship Success Endowment)

Scholarship Purpose: R.I.S.E. (Redbird Internship Success Endowment) was established by Jan Stewart in order to allow CAS Redbirds to pursue meaningful internship opportunities, regardless of location or pay, in order for students to enhance their career preparation.

Financial Need: This scholarship requires a student to have a Financial Need to be eligible to receive the scholarship. In order to establish "Financial Need", a student must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can file the FAFSA at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.

This scholarship is not open to International Students.

  • o Student must be enrolled in a major in the College of Arts and Sciences, preference given to students majoring in Economics.

  • o Students must be pursuing an internship opportunity that will last no longer than 16 weeks, and must be related to either the student's major or career aspirations.

  • o Student must have an internship secured prior to receiving funds. .

  • o Preference given to students demonstrating financial need
