Scholarship Purpose: The RTL Veterans Assistance Endowment was established in 2018 by Robert T. Landes, Jr. The scholarship provides support for an Illinois State University student who is enrolled in good standing, full or part time, who are veterans of any branch of service of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Who are veterans of any branch of service of the U.S. Armed Forces Having an honorable discharge To be used for the purpose of meeting financial obligations of: 1. Professional development opportunities, including but not limited to conference fees, travel for conferences, educational enrichment opportunities 2. Assisting with emergency expenses (i.e. food, clothing, housing, textbooks) 3. Assisting with programs, equipment and supply needs of Veterans Study Center at Illinois State University
