Summers Scholarship in the College of Business

Scholarship Purpose: The Summers Scholarship in the College of Business was established by Michelle Summers to support students pursuing their education in the College of Business. A first-generation college student herself, Michelle earned her Master of Business Administration in the College of Business in 2003. Now a finance and operations leader in the education sector, Michelle understands firsthand the transformative impact of scholarships, particularly for first-generation students. Through this scholarship, Michelle aims to encourage and empower future students in the College of Business to succeed during their time at Illinois State University and beyond.
